The terminal, located in a strategic area for the industrial activities of Italy's manufacturing powerhouse, is a key hub for sorting goods to and from Northern Europe and the UK. Over the past year, working hours have been extended to 24 hours in order to meet the increased demand for rail traffic. One of the leading terminals for freight traffic, second only to the Verona Quadrante Europa terminal, it is in demand by several multi-modal operators.
The terminal covers an area of 145,000 square meters, of which 45,000 square meters are dedicated to the storage of goods.
